Product Description

Steinel MD IR N270 uDIM is a professional outdoor PIR motion sensor for wall surface-mount applications. The wide 270° detection angle with a typical tangential reach of approx. 12.5 m reliably covers entrances, façades and building corners (a corner wall bracket is included). Commissioning and networking are done via Bluetooth® Mesh in the STEINEL Connect app — create groups, copy settings and fine-tune time (5 s–60 min) and twilight (2–1000 lx) directly from your phone.

Dimming (uDIM) — important

uDIM is built into the sensor: phase-cut dimming compatible with both leading and trailing edge LED drivers.
The connected luminaire/LED driver must be dimmable; otherwise dimming will not work.
Supports soft light start (smooth switch-on) and configurable basic light level/time from the app.
With LED loads, behaviour can vary between drivers at low dim levels — on-site testing is recommended.
